I started English riding when I was 12 years old with Dona Singlehurst at Town and Country Stables at Kapiolani Park. From that time I never stopped riding. I rode english and western, went into horse shows, combined training shows which included dressage, crosscountry jumping, and stadium jumping, and also joined the Pony Club. The Pony Club took us to the Regionals in Woodside, Calif. and the Nationals in Demoine, Iowa. Later, I began teaching, training, and competing with horses in English, Western, and Dressage. I have been doing all of the above for about 30 years and now have my own facility Malu'Olu Ranch, Waimanalo which I share with my daughter, Angela. This brings me up to present day happenings which I thank everyone, especially Bill Indich for making my dream come true.

I have grown up with horses around my whole life. Watching my mom train and teach horses and riders about the fundamentals of riding became my inspiration to learn as much as possible. I started showing at the ages of 8 and have continued to compete in hunter/jumpers, dressage, and western. I also participated in Pony Club earning my "B" rating and am now currently a Pony Club instructor and National Examiner level 1.
